As our climate is taking a turn for the worst, simple taxes have been implemented in Canada, mainly towards large manufacturing industries. These industries dump gargantuan amounts of carbon into the air every day. The main goal of the carbon tax is to reduce further damage done to our climate. To add to this obvious win-win goal for everybody on this planet, the tax is also meant to be dumped back into Canada's economy. This will create more jobs for Canadians, and will provide an adequate funding for innovations that can aim to reduce, if not deduce, carbon emissions once and for all. Nonetheless, Canadians everywhere are in total outrage due to the decision made by their Prime Minister Justin Trudeau pertaining the amount of this tax; a decision that disregarded nearly everyone in Canada. It is a classic story of "that's politics" in Canada right now. As experts and researchers estimated a carbon tax at $200 per ton in 2050 to enable a safer climate in the future, the ego maniacal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau decided that his financial advocators in big business and society leadership were more important than the people of Canada. Trudeau said that high influx in carbon taxes per ton would be bad for the economy! Every other provincial minister seems to disagree with him, as well as most of Canada, but Trudeau's buddies in big business cannot get enough of the low tax. Coincidence?

Ignoring the suggested $200 per ton goal in 2050, Trudeau decided that a mere $10 per ton suited his friends in lucrative business, which is meant to only reach a measly $50 per ton in 2050. Not only will this tax build towards a healthier future for generations to be, but it could do wonders for the economic status of Canada, which is not the best when comparatively placed next to their past.

As unemployment stands at a 7% in Canada, the carbon tax could dump billions of dollars back into the economy. In 2014, reported carbon emissions in Canada were at 732 megatons that year. So, a higher tax would undoubtedly stunt the growth of inflation that has been slowly munching on Canada's economy. Aside from the latter, Canada could pursue technology to disappear this whole carbon mess altogether, simultaneously creating millions of jobs throughout the Provinces. So, more jobs, better future environment, inflation down, hmm, it sounds like the carbon tax is good for everyone in Canada. Oh, yeah, I forgot. The carbon tax is not good for the egocentric John Trudeau and his business buds. It does nothing for them, just cost them more money. Unfortunately, Canada is falling victim to the same, classic tragedy that has played out throughout governments in history. A tragedy that is still playing out within the borders of their close neighbors. America is far from implementing any sort of carbon tax, for we love our oil down here. Well, our leaders do. Sound familiar Canada?
